What do we mean by personal service?
Direct contact at all times being made with the
customer via a ‘live’ telephone conversation or in
person. If a shipper is happy doing business by way
of e-mail and without personal contact, then simply
put we probably are not the vendor for them.
Corrigan's
core expertise is its great people anchored by three
senior staff that can alone boast a cumulative 75
years of international forwarding experience. We are
proud to say that there is no shipping project too
large or too small that we cannot competitively and
effectively handle.
Yes, we are small and that is why we promote
ourselves as a boutique forwarder. Resultant
customer benefits include our 24/7 personal service.
Company business cards also contain our mobile
numbers and for example, we do not see being
contacted any time ‘after hours’ or weekends, as an
interruption. This aspect of our service
demonstrates our 'can do' spirit and commitment to
looking after customer needs, no matter what the
time or day.
We have an established network of overseas partners,
whose dedication and philosophy towards personal
service mirrors ours. As a Boutique Forwarder, we
concentrate our resources on specific trade routes.
There are some countries for reasons of political
instability, archaic banking practices, or
corruption that makes it impossible to provide the
levels of service we aspire to. In terms of the
recognized trading partners of the United States,
however, we offer full coverage.
Corrigan's currently
has strategically placed offices from Los Angeles to
Miami that can arrange pick up and deliveries to or
from any zip codes in America. We have contracts
with line haul suppliers the size of UPS and
Nationwide truckers down to the approved Air Cargo,
Inc, and local Trucker in the smallest of cities.
In conjunction with the reputation of our
International partners Corrigan's has established
credit with steamship lines, airlines and other line
haul operators. That allows us to handle freight to
and from any serviced destination. Strong working
relationships have already been forged with all our
vendors.
We can tailor out rates to best suit the transit and
modal requirements of the shipment depending upon
whether it is time or price sensitive. Our low
overheads ensure our quotations provide excellent
serviced based value, no matter how complex or
detailed the movement is. Cargo monitoring and
tracking is easily handled through our
‘state-of-the-art’ computer systems with customers
automatically updated on the movement of their
freight from uplift through to ultimate delivery.
Incorporating the Internet with E-business solutions
has allowed us to be at the leading edge of
Forwarding Industry technology.
We do however recognize that freight movement is
still very much dependent upon human input.
Technology has helped revolutionize the way business
is done in many industries, but transport involves
'hands' handling of freight. Even with the best of
intentions at the heart of getting the job completed
problems can happen resulting in shipments being
delayed, miss-labeled, pillaged or damaged.

truly reflects our customer commitment.

unturned in seeking to resolve any such problem. In
cases like this our unrelenting objective is to
bring the matter to a positive conclusion. This
includes keeping the customer fully informed of our
investigations and the actions taken. We see it as
integrity of service. Many preach it, but few
practice it!
